Amy and Bobby met 8 years ago and since then they have hardly been apart. Amy’s beautiful smile complement’s Bobby’s witty humor. We had an amazing opportunity to meet this beautiful couple in Spain a few weeks back where we just hit off instantly. This was undoubtedly one of the most productive engagement shoots in the less hours we had for it.
So instead of us scouting for the location, Amy and Bobby already did that for us as they were in the city before us, which was so helpful. We could quickly move around as we knew exactly which places to go. We started with the beautiful Park Güell, public park system composed of gardens and architectonic elements located on Carmel Hill, in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The large cross at the park’s high-point offers the most complete view of Barcelona and the bay. It is possible to view the main city in panorama, with the Sagrada Família and the Montjuïc area visible at a distance. There are these beautiful stone columns and arches designed by the famous architect Antoni Gaudí.
We later moved to another location called Gothic Quarter which is the centre of the old city of Barcelona. It stretches from La Rambla to Via Laietana, and from the Mediterranean seafront to the Ronda de Sant Pere.
We were just amazed by the most stunning structures and palaces which took us back to the history of Barcelona. The most significant was Barcelona Cathedral built in 1880s and we decided we need to capture this beauty in an epic image.
We ended our engagement session with waterfront dining along with Amy and Bobby, which comprised of Paella and Sangria. Definitely a place we will visit again soon. Can’t wait for the wedding in October 2020.
